Nearshore (Croatia) – Senior Fullstack Engineer (Frontend Focus) | React, TypeScript & AWS –

For our client in the automotive industry, we are looking for an experienced Senior Fullstack Engineer with a strong frontend focus to support a long-term product team working on digital customer-facing products and cloud-native services.

The team operates in a modern product environment and develops scalable solutions that contribute directly to customer engagement and conversion across digital touchpoints.

As part of our growing Nearshore network for long-term engagements in the automotive sector, we are particularly interested in connecting with experienced software engineers based in Croatia. However, we also welcome applications from highly qualified professionals across the broader European market.

Requirements

• Strong experience with React and TypeScript in complex product environments

• Solid understanding of modern frontend development, architecture and user experience

• Experience working in agile and cross-functional product teams

• Hands-on experience with Node.js and modern backend development

• Experience with AWS cloud environments

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, ideally AWS CDK and/or Terraform

• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset and willingness to take ownership

• Fluent English skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kotlin and Spring Boot

• Experience with GraphQL

• Experience with Pact / Contract Testing

• Experience in SAFe environments

• German language skills
